NHAI Launches Aarohan for Workers’ Families’ Education

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has launched Project Aarohan to provide scholarships for the children of toll plaza employees in India. The initiative aims to remove financial barriers, nurture talent, and ensure equal access to quality education for economically weaker families.
Key Features of Project Aarohan:

○ Children of toll plaza employees working under NHAI in India.
- Scholarship Coverage:
○ 500 students from Class 11 to graduation (final year).
○ Each to receive ₹12,000 annually (FY 2025–26).
○ 50 meritorious students pursuing postgraduate or higher studies to get ₹50,000 scholarships each.
- Application Process:
○ To be conducted through an online portal.
○ Students must submit academic records, income proof, caste certificate, and ID proof.
- Vision:
○ Removing financial barriers to education.
○ Promoting equal opportunity and empowerment for children of economically weaker toll plaza families.
